Brother Type LC233 and LC263 ink jet cartridges are used in numerous printers and multifunction printers (MFPs) such as the DCP-J562DW All-in-One (print, copy and scan) and MFC-J680 MFP (print, copy, scan and fax). OEM-rated print speeds vary from up to 10 pages per minute (ppm) for color and up to 12 ppm for black and white printing.

Each printer uses four ink cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) with page yields of 260 (standard yield) to 550 (high yield). Printers ship with one set of starter ink cartridges yielding approximately 260 pages. All cartridges require a chip for correct printer operation.

Note: Brother ink jet printers that use Type LC233 and LC263 ink jet cartridges may also use other types (Types LC223,and LC230, for example), depending upon the printer model and the geographic market in which they are sold.
